Sheila Marmom founder of Urban AdServe

SMarmon_Headshot.jpgSheila Marmon is founding partner of Urban Adserve a leading online ad network for urban publishers and marketers. The company aggregates the most engaging websites to serve display banners, rich media, video and other online advertising thus harnessing the power to reach target consumers.

Before Urban Adserve, Sheila was the Director of Multimedia Strategy at Essence Magazine where she was responsible for launching the magazine’s online business and crafting integrated marketing campaigns for targeted audiences. Sheila has also worked for leading corporations including Time Warner and Morgan Stanley & Company.

Sheila talks with us about her journey from Ivy League graduate, her time on Wall Street all of which prepared her for the most challenging undertaking yet: the launch of her own venture.
